Tamale Pie

This week’s Whip It Up theme is “spicy”. Normally when opting for Mexican-inspired dishes, we turn to Mexican lasagna, vegetarian chili, or tex-mex pasta. But Whip It Up calls for new recipes, so Tamale Pie it was!

I may have to try this when fall comes knocking. I've been looking for some new casseroley type dishes for a while.

I love being able to just pop it in the oven and know we can eat for a good three days on one dish.

That looks really good and I can very easily make it gluten free! Mr. Bean has been on a bit of a corn bread muffin making stint (so good!), so it'll be tasty to be able to use it in another dish.

I hope everything is going well for you! :)

Oooo that looks really good and I don't even like spicy food (although it's growing on me)!
